Home Sheep Home, a Flash-based Puzzle Adventure with Cute Sheep
An Overview of a Relaxing Puzzle Adventure
Game Background
The sheeps Shirley, Shaun, and Timmy need to get home safely to the comfort of their barn, but to do so they must work together. Shirley is the biggest sheep, Timmy is the smallest, and Shaun is right in the middle of this dynamic trio. Utilize the relative sizes of each sheep to solve terrain puzzles and get all three of them home safely.
Gameplay
The ultimate goal is to get all three of the sheep home, but this is done in steps as separated by each of the stages. The objective of each stage, then, is to get all three sheep to the signpost with an arrow on it.
To control a sheep, simply use the arrow keys on your keyboard. You can select sheep using numbers that correspond to the sheep. Pressing the number key 1 will let you control Shirley, the biggest and heaviest sheep. Pressing the number key 2 will let you control Shaun, the sheep that is not too heavy and not too big, just an average size for a sheep. Pressing the number key 3 will let you control Timmy, the smallest and lightest sheep.
At the top right hand corner of the screen you can see a key that will remind you of which sheep is designated to which number.
To retry a level, simply press R. To escape to the menu, press the Escape button on your keyboard.
Once you have successfully gotten all of the sheep to the signpost, you will be shown a progress report of your performance that will basically notify you of the time it took you to complete the stage. You will also be shown your personal best time, as well as the number of bonus points you have earned and a final score. Press N to proceed to the next level.
Complete all of the stages to get the sheep home!
Game Review
Home Sheep Home is a creative, relaxing puzzle adventure that is great fun for gamers of all gaming levels. The idea of using three sheep of varying sizes and strengths adds a good twist to the game that is more than just having terrain obstacles that must be overcome. The imagery is also very pleasing to the eye, and so are the audio tracks.
Home Sheep Home scores a 10/10 for providing a highly enjoyable Flash-based experience.
