Creating a color scheme is a great way to start your design. Pick a color combination that is pleasing to you. A good color combo can enhance your home theater experience. Some people like to go bold with dark walls and eye popping accessories. Others do the opposite and go with neutral walls and dark accessories. Once you have your colors picked out you are ready to accessorize.
Rugs can add a warm cozy feel to a space. There are some excellent places to find movie themed rugs online. Check out Kid Carpet for many rug options, colors and sizes. Another great way to create a cinematic experience is to use movie posters. A couple of places to find posters online are posters.com and movieposters.com. You could watch movies without popcorn, but why not just have your own popcorn machine. You can find many sizes and styles at keepitpoppin.com. Comfortable theater chairs are a must have for your home theater. Many options are available at "Seats and Chairs" and "Star Gate Cinema". Another important item needed is storage for all your media. Check out these stores online, "Store Your Media" or "Racks and Stands". Other ideas for your home theater could include ottomans, coffee tables, wall mounted cabnits, light control systems, wall sconces, curtains, and pillows.
The most important thing needed in a home theater is a television or home theater projector. There are so many screens in different sizes. You can buy a 30 to 65 inch screen or bigger. Obviously the bigger the better cinematic experience you will have. There are so many options out there in televisions. HDTV (High Definition Television) is the most popular at the moment. HDTV provides a sharp, clear, outstanding color experience. Whatever screen you pick out, try to make it the center attraction in your room. You can find many options in your local television stores. However, check out online as well at Best Buy, Walmart, and other retail stores for deals.
The second most important thing for your room would be to pick out a surround sound system. There are many different brands and many options for you to choose from. Bose has really great surround sound systems. Also, adding fabric paneled wainscoting is one way to enhance the acoustics in the room. Designing a home theater can be fun. It's your choice to choose the right items for your budget. Be creative and make your home theater eye popping.

Post a CommentThat may be true but, I have never heard of those sites. I am not gonna trust some cheapskate who wants to advertise their websites on someones content page for free. People need to be able to trust that it is a legit buisness.
