HoMedics iCush-100 Audio Sync Seat: Review

The iCush Audio Sync Seat is a Gamer's Delight

Brian Jones
When it comes to relaxation, I am the king. As I sit at my computer and write I always listen to music. I had always wished that I made enough money writing to be able to afford a better chair, but then something much more delightful came along-the HoMedics iCush-100 Audio Sync Seat. I have never been more happy with only a mere material possession. The iCush Audio Sync Seat is really only a seat cushion, but with some great functionality. It has a 3.5" audio jack that easily connect to your iPod, MP3 player, or computer, and also includes an adapter that will connect it to most any other audio device. It also comes with an 80-inch audio extension cord and the RCA adapter is an impressive 42 inches itself. The cushion also has two adjustable speakers on either side of the headrest that produce great sound.

The iCush is also a massager. This is where the "Sync" part comes in. What this seat does is syncs the audio directly to the massaging unit, so you receive a massage that follows the rhythm of the music. This is also amazing for game play as you can feel each explosion, crash, and gunshot.

The iCush's wired remote allows for control of the audio sync feature, or three other pre-programmed massage patterns-all motors, up and down, and random. Also the remote can be used to control the 3 speed settings and 3 levels of intensity, as well as body zone massage.

I truly have nothing negative to say about this product. It has been perfect for me in every way. Some people may not like all the wires: speaker wires, remote wire, AC adapter wire, but for me it is not a problem. I have only seen the seat in black and silver and that also has been fine with me as my entire computer system is black and silver.

If you are a gamer, an audiophile, a computer freak, or just someone who likes a relaxing massage, the Homedics iCush-100 Audio Sync Seat is for you. I have had mine for well over a year, and I still see them being sold at many department and electronics stores. I recently saw one at Walmart for only $59.00. They are also available at www.amazon.com for a mere $39.99. This is one product I find hard to live without. Get yours today.
