Homeless in America

Sunflower
Homeless have been a Hugh problem for many years in America, it really can happen to anyone, if you don't get a paycheck, or have some type of family emergency it could happen to you, after losing a job or a love one drugs, many factors we know nothing about, some people just don't no how to cope with society, and some just don't care and are just plain lazy, some used drugs which is how they got to be homeless in the first place. Just about every store you go to there's at least one standing or sitting in front of the store looking for some change or anything you can spare, and all they may end up with at the end of the day is enough change to get some coffee or some food, not all want food, some want drugs, or alcohol, it's not enough for anything else they do not have any bills or rent to pay. Mostly they're worried about what they will eat for the next day, because they already know they will be sleeping on the streets, or in the alleys, hallways, parks, where ever they can find. And when it rains thats how they get their bath all they need is a bar of soap, they have to carry around everything they own, like the few cloths they have, most of the cloths they have is old and dirty with holes this is no joke, it's sad to see this type of problem in America. Sometimes you might say to yourself " is this a test from God" to see if you would help a person in need before you give them your spare change to see how we would handle the situation, sometimes you have to think about that, and you to could just as easily be Homeless. So we all should be proud that we are tax paying citizens. I thank God everyday for what I have and hope to never have to live like that. America is not doing enough to put an end to this ongoing problem.

Homeless can be cause by a variety of factors, mainly is because they can't afford housing, or even clean themselves up well enough to even look decent enough, no address or phone number to even go try to find a job, and jobs are hard to find even for some of those who are not homeless, have you ever notice there are more men who are homeless than women but, there are still millions of men, women and children who are homeless. Some have mental Illness, they are sick, weak, hungry and properly will not find a job in that condition. There are shelters but, they can only hold so many homeless victims at a time and they can only help with food, cloths, and shelter, that's not helping them with what they really need and that is a job and a place to live, and how will they pay for it, and because of that they sooner or later end up right back on the streets in the same situation. Most people don't like passing them up because most people are living pay check to pay check themselves, and are not far from being homeless to, some say "get a job"... but it's not that easy for them. And when the winter comes it gets worse, because than they have to worry about the cold weather and if they will be able to find a warm shelter, they need covers, blankets, some needs transportation to get to the shelter, even in the summer it also can get to hot to live on the streets or outside without air condition, so you see, it's just a problem all year round. They should be cleaned up and given minimum wages jobs since no one else want to work for that type of pay. Although the homeless really needs a lot of assistances from the system, in no way are they to think they never have to work, those who are able should be given jobs, and training to better themselves, because they have to learn to work for a living as well. Because if society doesn't look at it that way they will find a lot more all of of sudden homeless people, because we as taxpayers should not have to pay there way to a better life.
