After a homeless Wilson, Oklahoma, woman, Catherine Titus, and her 100+ abandoned dogs' plight was broadcast internationally a few weeks ago, Ms. Titus has received generous contributions from around the world.

Today, Catherine Titus has spread the love: "Everyone has been so generous to me and my dogs. After reading about this precious woman's courageous battle with cancer, I thought this would be a wonderful way to thank all of my contributors. I'm sure they will be proud that I am sharing their gifts with Janet. I can't think of a better cause."

A 31-year teaching veteran, Wilson Elementary School teacher Janet Asbury was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2008. Currently undergoing chemotherapy, Ms. Asbury continues teaching her third grade class full-time, GED evening classes twice weekly, and tutors struggling students at the Hardy House. Unable to attend a local fundraising dinner hosted by the Wilson Parent-Teacher Volunteer Organization Friday, Feb. 6th, Ms. Catherine Titus presented Ms. Janet Asbury a check for $125.00 on Monday, February 9, 2009 in her third grade classroom at the Wilson Elementary School, Wilson, Oklahoma.
