There is nothing worse than dry hair. Dry hair is unmanageable, dull and weak. To help keep my hair hydrated nourished, shiny and manageable I like to make and use my homemade aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner.
The natural ingredients I use to make my homemade aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner are 2 cups of aloe juice, 3 cups of coconut water and 25 drops of honeysuckle essential oil. These ingredients should be organic for them to contain the moist nourishing and conditioning nutrients in it. You can find these organic ingredients at herbal shops, grocery stores and whole food stores.
The way I make the aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner is by pouring the measured out ingredients into a spray bottle. Then I simply place the sprayer onto the bottle and give it a gentle shake to combine the ingredients together well. After I place the leave in hair conditioner spray into the refrigerator until I am ready to use it. The spray should keep fresh for about a month when stored properly.
Now the way I like to use the homemade aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner is by simply spraying it into freshly cleansed damp hair. Then I brush my hair out with a comb and blow dry and style my hair like usual. After my hair is silky soft, shiny and most importantly well hydrated. This homemade leave in hair conditioner really helps protect the hair from air pollutants, harsh environmental factors and dry air so it does not become damaged.
The other way I like to use this homemade leave in conditioner is by spraying it into my hair after swimming in a pool or ocean because it helps make my hair smell good again. In addition, it helps nourish my hair and protect it from the harsh chlorine and salt in the pool and ocean.
The reason why this homemade aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner is so hydrating and nourishing too the hair is because the aloe contains natural vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and natural conditioning properties in it. Coconut water is good for the hair because it also is a natural conditioner and contains vitamins; minerals and antioxidants that help protect, nourish, hydrate and add shine to the hair naturally.
I do hope those of you who make this homemade aloe and coconut leave in hair conditioner have an easy time doing so. I also hope you all enjoying using this in your hair and the wonderful sweet honeysuckle scent it has.

Post a CommentHi Soleil,
I always like to read your articles. I love natural stuff and I have been losing my hair and the dr cannot tell me why. I was told it was scarring alopecia but I have noticed that some fine hairs have been growing in some bald spots. As a female you can appreciate how devastating that is. I have a bottle of aloe vera jelly and I also have coconut oil at home. Can I substitute the coconut oil for the coconut water and about how much should I use. Also, do you use the coconut water straight from the mature coconut or do you use the store bought coconut water?
