Birthday party invitations are easy to make if you use your home computer. There is an abundance of free clipart and photos available online to use in your invitations. If you have print software, you may already have the clipart and photos on your computer. You can use print software or photo editing software to design your entire card inside and out. Create a document that's 8 1/2 inches in height and 11 inch in width in your favorite print or image editing software program. Draw a vertical line down the middle to divide it in half. Duplicate the image by saving it with a new file name. The first file will serve as the front of the invitation, and the second file will become the interior of the invitation. All images and text should go in the right side of each document. On the front of the birthday party invitation, create a space for the image, then type your greeting. On the inside of the invitation, type information about the date, time and place of the birthday party. Get some heavy duty printer paper or heavy card stock to print your invitations. Print the front of the birthday party invitation, then turn the paper or card stock over to print the other side. Be careful to position the paper or card stock so that text prints in the right direction on both sides.
