Homemade Chamomile and Aloe Eye Makeup Remover

Elise Marie

I have tried many natural eye makeup removers, but I was never happy with any of them simply because they did not work and seemed to irritate my eye areas. Therefore, I created my own eye makeup remover using natural soothing and nourishing ingredients to help remove my eye makeup naturally. The homemade eye makeup remover I made is the homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover.

The natural ingredients needed to make the homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover are 10 drops of chamomile oil, ¼ cup of liquid coconut oil, ¼ cup of castor oil, 1 cup of aloe juice, 1 tablespoon of grapeseed oil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. You will also need a clean bottle with a cover that is easy to pour. You can find these ingredients and the bottle at any grocery stores, herbal store and drugstore. They can be expensive, but you can make many homemade eye removers if you have these ingredients on hand.

The reason why I chose these natural ingredients is that they naturally remove the eye makeup, nourish my eye areas and do not irritate my sensitive skin. They also contain antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that help keep my eye areas looking young and healthy appearing too by fighting off fine lines and wrinkles.

The way to make the homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover is by pouring all the ingredients into the bottle carefully. Then what you do is place the cover onto the bottle and shakes it gently to combine the ingredients together to form this golden foamy colored gentle chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover. I like to store my eye makeup remover in the refrigerator because it keeps it cold and when the eye makeup remover is cold, it helps reduce eye puffiness naturally. However, you do not have to place your homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover in the refrigerator. You can safely store it on the bathroom sink for up to 4 weeks and use it when needed.

The best way to use the homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover is by pouring some of it onto a cotton ball. Then what you do is wipe the eye makeup off gently and well. The eye makeup remover is slightly oily, but it works well and is very soothing and nourishing. I use this homemade chamomile and aloe eye makeup remover every night to remove my eye makeup naturally. I hope those of you who make and use this homemade eye makeup remover too enjoy the way it works.
