I have had my fare share of blisters on my feet and let me tell you when I did have them, I constantly soaked my feet in a footbath made with my favorite homemade chamomile oatmeal foot soak. I found the foot soak to be soothing and healing to my blistery feet.
The basic natural ingredients needed to make my homemade chamomile oatmeal foot soak are 4 cups of ground rolled oats, 1 cup of sea salt, 25 drops of chamomile essential oil and 2 cups of dried chamomile leaves that you would normally use for making chamomile tea. You should be able to find all these natural soothing ingredients in a grocery store or herbal shop and they should be very affordable. I paid around ten dollars for all my ingredients.
Now the easiest way to make the homemade chamomile oatmeal foot soak is by pouring all the ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and combining them together until they are evenly distributed. After, you should have a lovely homemade foot soak that you can store away in a plastic sealable container until you are ready to use it.
When you are ready to use your homemade foot soak for soothing the blisters on your feet all you do is get out a footbath or large bowl and fill it with hot water. Then add in 1 large cup of the chamomile oatmeal foot soak and allow it to dissolve. The soak should dissolve into a nice milky oatmeal foam in about 2 minutes or so. Then all you do is simply place your feet into the footbath and soak them for a good thirty minutes. The oatmeal contains soothing properties in it that help nourish and heal damaged skin and the chamomile tea has medicinal properties in it that will cleanse the blisters and relieve any redness and swelling you might have from them.
Now you can soak your blistery feet in the homemade chamomile foot soak as often as needed to help speed up the healing of the blisters. Heck, you can even use this foot soak if you want to help soften the feet right up and make them pretty. However, I would not use this foot soak if you were allergic to chamomile because it might give you an allergic reactions. Otherwise, I wish you all the best with soothing and healing your blisters naturally with this foot soak.
