Here is a Christmas gift idea I made last year that was a hit with my family! Here is a hint: If you're looking for ideas for homemade Christmas presents for women, we all know you can never go wrong with food!
I found this very simple recipe my mom had for white chocolate popcorn. She had made some for us recently and it was delicious! I thought the popcorn would make yummy and affordable homemade Christmas presents!
You can't go wrong with a gourmet popcorn recipe; there aren't very many people who don't like popcorn! Haven't you ever noticed all your family and friends buying the holiday tins full of gourmet popcorn at Christmastime? Women especially love food and sweets; therefore white chocolate popcorn is one of the smartest ideas for homemade Christmas presents for women!
Do you want to have successful gift giving this Christmas? (like I did!) Just make this very easy and delicious white chocolate popcorn for your homemade Christmas presents.
White Chocolate Popcorn Recipe
Ingredients- 6 ounces of Nestle white chocolate chips
2 bags of popcorn (Non buttery kind is the best)
Directions:
1. Microwave both bags of popcorn.
2. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl. (First, try heating it for thirty seconds. Take it out and stir it. If it isn't melted, heat it for another thirty seconds. There is no exact time to heat it so watch it very closely! If it heats too long, the chocolate will be ruined and you will need to buy more.)
3. In an extremely large bowl, add the popcorn. Begin pouring the white chocolate slowly over the popcorn as you mix the popcorn. The idea is to get a light coating of chocolate throughout all the popcorn. Too much chocolate will make those pieces of popcorn soggy!
4. Lay the popcorn out on cookie sheets and put them in the refrigerator to cool and set.
5. Once the white chocolate coating has hardened and cooled, you can start filling your popcorn gift bags!
You can buy decorative Christmas bags at the dollar store or a craft store or just use regular bags that are typically sealed with a twisty tie. Although, instead of using a twisty tie to tie the bags, tie a red or green piece of ribbon around the bag and curl the ends of the ribbon with scissors!
You can give these homemade Christmas presents to everyone in your family! Nobody will be disappointed that your gift is homemade. Just make sure you bring the recipe on Christmas Day; because just like my family, yours will be asking for it!

Post a CommentMmm...that sounds delicious! I'll bet you can also switch it up and do regular chocolate, or caramel if you've got it.
