This article will give you several craft ideas for those empty toilet tissue rolls. You probably never thought of keeping them but this article might persuade you differently, especially if you have kids.

Some of the crafts you can use toilet paper rolls for can also be made using paper towel rolls but this article will detail homemade craft ideas using toilet paper rolls.

First, how about a set of cool binoculars for the kids? The children can decorate the tubes as they wish with colors, paints or stickers. You then can either glue them together or place a rubber band around them to hold them together. A fun and cute idea that the kids will enjoy.

You can also make great party favors using toilet tissue rolls. Fill the tube with candy or small toys and then wrap them in colorful tissue paper. Tie the ends up with curly ribbon, and viola! A very inexpensive and homemade party favor! The kids will also enjoy making these.

Toilet paper rolls make great noise makers for games and parties. Fill the inside of the tube with candy, pebbles, marbles or whatever you want then enclose the ends using either colorful tissue paper and curly ribbon or construction paper and rubber bands.

Another great use for toilet paper rolls is to make a homemade bowling set. Have the kids paint, color and decorate several toilet tissue rolls to use as bowling pins. Set them up and then use a small ball as the bowling ball. This is a fun craft for a slumber party or a fun activity at a kids birthday party.

Another fun use that girls will enjoy is to make hair scrunchy holders from empty toilet tissue rolls. The girls can paint and decorate them and then put all of their hair ribbons and scrunchies on it. It can contain them all together in one place.

Now we have a fireplace so those empty toilet tissue rolls have come in handy and has proven to be a great way to help in starting a fire in the fireplace. I hate to use ordinary paper and we don't get the newspaper so finding ways to help jumpstart the fire without spending money is great. You can also use empty paper towel rolls too.

Now I have never personally tried this but I can't think of a reason why this wouldn't work. I started thinking about how our Mom's use to use tin cans to roll their hair. Well why wouldn't a toilet paper roll not work? I suppose winding wet hair around it might make it mushy eventually but you never know. It may be worth a try!

Of course recycling is always a good idea. If you have more rolls than you can use then you can think about recycling them. Recycling them is better than throwing them away any day!

You might want to save back some of these ideas for fun winter and rainy day crafts when the kids can't play outside. It never hurts to have something up your sleeve for days like that! Hopefully this article has inspired you to find even more ways you can use those empty toilet tissue rolls.
