Homemade Desserts with Croissants Recipes

You can get really creative when using croissants for desserts. These croissants do not take a lot to make and there is no baking involved. This makes these recipes easy to do. The first recipe is a mixer that taste a lot like cheesecake. These are the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

One pack of freshly baked croissants from Wal-Mart
One pack of chocolate pudding
8-ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese
3 Tbs powdered sugar
¼ tsp vanilla extract

For this recipe you may wish to add more or less powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Taste the mixture to make sure it is the taste you desire. Take your croissants and slice them on one side. Do not cut all the way through croissant. When slicing into side of croissant make it deep enough to stuff it with filling. Follow directions and make the chocolate pudding, set in refrigerator. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Take a teaspoon and stuff each croissant with mixture. Take a butter knife or a spoon and spread chocolate pudding over the top of the croissants. Put croissants in refrigerator and chill for 30 to 60 minutes.

Strawberry filled croissants is another favorite. These are the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

8-ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese
4 Tbs powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups of fresh strawberries
Whip cream

Crush strawberries and add cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix ingredients well. Put in refrigerator to chill. Follow the above directions for cutting croissants. Fill croissants with filling mixture. You can spread either chocolate or vanilla pudding on the top of croissants. Put two scoops of whip cream on top of pudding. You may wish to not use pudding and just top the croissants with two scoops of whip cream. Put in refrigerator to chill for 30 to 60 minutes.

Another way to make tasty croissants is blueberry. These are the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

One pack of freshly baked croissants from Wal-Mart
8-ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese
2 cups of vanilla ice cream
4 Tbs powdered sugar
Whip cream
¼ tsp vanilla extract
2 cups of fresh blueberries

Slice croissants the same way as the above recipe and set aside. Crush blueberries and add powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract, cream together. Stuff croissants with filling and put in refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes. When done top with vanilla ice cream and then whip cream. You may experiment with these ingredients, adding more or less of one ingredient will change the taste. By doing this you can make these desserts to your desired taste.
