Homemade Gifts to Give at a Hannah Montana Birthday Party

Hannah Montana birthday parties are all the rage right now. That is no surprise since Hannah Montana is the cat's meow to all girls who are too young to know what the "cat's meow" even means!

My son recently attended a Hannah Montana birthday party and brought the little girl a Hannah Montana clock. We found out that she had received 3 of them at the party. How about buying a simple pink or purple nylon sweat suit and blinging it out with craft jewels? You could write HM, ROCK STAR, OR DIVA with glued gems on the jacket or sweat suit top. You can accent with the remaining gems along the sides of the pants. You can go further and decorate cheap white gym shoes, a generic dog tag necklace and/or a t-shirt underneath with the same gems. How about buying a wooden guitar (hopefully used) and gluing fake fur and gems to it? Make sure that it can still be played. Why not have your daughter help you make a Hannah Montana scrap book for the birthday girl? She could use the scrapbook to store all the pictures from her Hannah Montana birthday party. You could buy a scrapbook anywhere and copy and paste Hannah Montana images from the Internet into a print program and print and cut them out. Glue them on the front of the scrapbook. You might want to add gems to the outside of the scrap book for an extra "diva-effect". You can even decorate acid free paper with Hannah Montana images for the inside if you want. You could wrap the the finished Hannah Montana scrap book with pink or purple faux silk or a piece of faux fur with cording or ribbon wrapped around it.

A homemade dramatic play box is simply a container such as a paper file box, or a Rubber maid type box with a lid that holds many elements that help children pretend to the fullest. In the inside, load it up with anything the young girl could use to pretend to be Hannah Montana. Some of the best ideas to put in the box are:

- Sunglasses (as diva like as possible)

You can add anything to the box that would make it fun for the Hannah Montana fan. Buy as much of the clothing and contents used as possible. A thrift store is the perfect place as long as it is all washed well. If you can afford it, add as many sets of clothing as possible so she can play with her girl friends. There is no need to wrap the box, the decorated outside is wrapping enough. You might want to print out an information sheet explaining what the box is and a list of the contents to give to the Hannah Montana birthday girl.
