A treat holder is fun and easy to make. For this craft you will need a piece of heavy paper, scissors, tissue paper, ribbon, staples, a stapler, tape, and a pencil. It is a good idea to start with colored or patterned paper for pretty detail. Start by cutting two heart shapes out of the paper.

This can be done easily by folding the paper in half and cutting along the fold. Then place the even pieces of paper on top of each other. Fold the papers in have again and use a pencil to make a J shape along the folded side of the paper. Cut this section out of the two pieces of paper.

Lay the hearts next two each other with the points touching. Use tape to secure the two sides of the hearts together. Flip the hearts over and reinforce the other side with another layer of tape. Fold the hearts one on top of the other.

Place a strip of tape along the side that is not attached to the other heart. Make sure half of the tape hangs freely over the edge. Then fold the tape over to secure the sides together. Then add another strip of tape to the inside of the heart to reinforce the candy holder.

Next cut a piece of ribbon and staple the ends into the centers of the hearts. This will make a nice handle for your treat holder. You can fill it with anything special for your valentine.

Lollipop Flower
