Homemade Halloween Costumes for Kids: Hannah Montana Concert Costume

Hannah Montana is not only at the top of the charts - but she is at the top of a lot of kids Halloween costume list this year! Successfully pulling off the Hannah Montana look is a bit tricky, but totally doable! You can go to Walmart and buy an off the rack costume, but why not throw together your own unique Hannah Montana look? Most items can be found already in a young divas wardrobe, or if not, will fit in and get plenty of use after Hallowween is over!

Makup

Hannah loves all things glitter! She loves purple and pink as well, So go wild in the makeup section of your local drug store. Inexpensive eyeshadow can be purcahsed for just a few dollars. To keep costs down check out your local dollar store. I have seen great deals there!

Hannah loves the dramatic eye look. Take a glittery highlighter color and cover your brow bone with it. Take a medium color (a smokey, shimmery purple would be perfect!) and cover the lid. Make sure to also sweep some of the medium color under the bottom lashes to really open up your eyes! Take the darkest color and line closest to the lash line for accent. You may even try one of the new glittery mascaras to finish off the look. they can easily be found at a local drug store in several shades of blue and purple - even hot pink! They can also be purchased for only a few dollars. For lips, glittery pink lip gloss would be perfect. A soft pink blush rounds out the effect.

Clothes

Hannah's trademark white school girl shirt is a staple in most girls wardrobe. If you don't have one anything sparkly or flashy would do. Put a short jean vest covered in glitz over it. Pair your choice of shirt with a short pleated skirt and black tights. Finish off the look with cowboy boots - of course!

Accessories

Here is where the real fun starts! Pile on the chains, necklaces, scarves, really bling it up! Remember, Hannah is all about the glitter and flash! Sunglasses with glitter or fake jewels glued to them would be perfect! If you have a bedazzler - go wild! Remember - sequins and fake jewels are part of her trademark.

The dollar store would also be a great place to load up on accessories. At only a dollar an item you can afford to really pile on the flash! Great finds would include a chunky glittery belt and gold chains to wrap around your waist.
