You can have your child either color the cardboard or paint the cardboard gold. When the wings are dry you are going to attach them to the robe. This can be done by making small holes in the shoulder of the robe. You will also make small holes in the wings. Take a piece of ribbon and run it through the robe and the wings and they will stay connected. You can use gold ribbon so that it blends in. The last part of the angel costume that you are going to make is a halo. This can be done by using Christmas garland. You should choose gold. When you are finished coloring or painting the poster board you are going to cut out a strip of poster board about 3 inches wide and 4 inches long. You will make two of these.
