Homemade Lemon Verbena Tile Floor Cleaner

The floor in my bathroom is tile and it tends to get dirty often, but I am not able to clean it with chemical filled tile cleansers. Instead, I make my own homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner using basic ingredients from my kitchen that help get my tiled floor clean naturally.

The basic natural ingredients needed to make my homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner are 1 cup of baking soda, 2 gallons of hot water and 40 drops of lemon verbena essential oil. The baking soda safely cleanses and deodorizers my tile floor gently while the lemon verbena helps kill germs and adds a lovely fresh light lemony scent to the air of my bathroom naturally. You can easily find these ingredients at any organic grocery store or herbal shop.

Now the easiest way to make the homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner is by pouring all these ingredients directly into a mop bucket and mixing them together with the mop until the baking soda dissolves in the hot water. Next, you are ready to clean the tiled floor in your bathroom or anywhere else in your home such as the kitchen.

The way to use the homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner is by soaking the mop in the cleaner for 5 minutes. Then ring the mop out and begin to mop the floor focusing on the really gritty sticky greasy places. Do this until the tiled floor becomes clean. You will notice all the dirt and grim comes up easily without having to scrub a lot with the mop, which is nice. You will also notice the air with have a lovely lemon verbena scent to it that is refreshing and uplifting. Once you have cleaned the tiled floor well with the homemade cleaner, allow the tiled floor to air dry for 30 minutes. After, you will have a lovely squeeze clean tiled floor. You can make and use this homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner as often as you need to in order to help keep your tiled floors clean naturally.

Now you can also use this homemade lemon verbena tile floor cleaner on marbled floors and glass floors. It will not damage or scratch them at all. However, I would never recommend using this homemade floor cleaner on wood or laminate flooring because it could causes discoloration or damage.
