This homemade peach cobbler recipe is one I use often and it's a hit every time I serve it. This peach cobbler is homemade with real peaches. It's a bit more work involved in making homemade peach cobbler but somehow it just tastes better then store brought cobbler. Peach cobbler can be served at any occasion, Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthday parties and cookouts. Even as a dessert after supper. Peach cobbler recipes have been around for a long time and are always a hit with any type of gathering. If you try my peach cobbler recipe let me know what your friends and family think. Ingredients

Seven peaches
¾-cup sugar
Three drops almond extract
Cinnamon to taste
Two tablespoons real butter
One-cup flour
½-teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
¼-cup real butter
½-cup milk leave 1 tablespoon to the side

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Clean peaches by placing in hot water for about two minutes. Peel skin and slice into small wedges. Throw away pits. Place peaches in a shallow baking dish, sprinkle with almond extract, cinnamon and sugar. Dot with butter.

Next, whisk flour, baking powder and salt. Cit in butter using fingers and stir in milk until dough clings together. Roll out dough to ¼ thickness and place over peaches. Trim edges and crimp to seal. Cut an X in the center to allow for venting. Bake at 350 degrees for fifteen to 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
