Hamburger & pepperoni calzone ingredients:
Pizza dough
Hamburger
Pepperoni
Homemade style ragu pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella & Parmesan cheese
Kraft four cheeses
Butter
Garlic
Start by frying your hamburger until brown and then drain grease. Take three tablespoons of butter and put on low heat. Chop up a small glove of garlic and add to butter. Allow butter to melt and simmer about 15 minutes. After butter and garlic cool, take a butter brush and dip it into the butter and garlic mixed and brush on the bottom of the cookie sheet. Take pizza dough and spread it out in a 12x19 cookie sheet. The smaller the cookie sheet you use, the thicker the crust will be. After you have spread your dough out to cover the bottom of the cookie sheet, spread pizza sauce over dough to your desired amount. Cover half the dough with hamburger and then cover hamburger with Kraft four cheeses. Take pepperoni and cover the Kraft four cheeses. Take the shredded mozzarella & parmesan cheese and cover pepperoni. Now carefully take the end of the dough that doesn't have the fixing on it, pull over to cover end of dough with fixing on it. Take a fork and press it down easily on the edges of the dough. Take butter and garlic mixer and brush over top of dough. Preheat oven to 350 and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, checking occasionally to make sure dough is nice and brown on top and bottom.
Another favorite calzone is the ham, sausage, pepperoni, onion, and green pepper calzone. To make this calzone follow the ingredients above and replace hamburger with ham, sausage, pepperoni. Sautee onions and green peppers in butter over low heat until onions and green peppers are soft. After covering dough with sauce, cover half the dough with ham, sausage, onions, green peppers, Kraft four cheeses, pepperoni, and then last add your mozzarella & parmesan cheese. The directions above are the same for this recipe; you are just changing the meat ingredients.
These calzone recipes you will enjoy and they don't take much to prepare or bake. Taking the butter and garlic and brushing it on the bottom of the cookie sheet and on the top of the dough before baking will evenly brown the dough. It will not brown unevenly, making your calzone come out looking delicious.
