One of the problems that I face on a daily basis is an upset stomach and I have found that this can be a very big problem. Because I am always suffering from an upset stomach it makes life almost impossible at times because it can be hard to go outside and socialize. Every time I make plans with a friend my stomach becomes very painful and it hurts so much that it becomes impossible to go out with my friends. I also had trouble going to work because it became difficult to actually get any work done at the office since I was constantly in pain and this resulted in frequent trips to the bathroom. However, this was before I found some very effective homemade remedies for calming an upset stomach and I now use these methods to improve my life and make living possible easy day.

According to Mayoclinic.com, herbal tea with peppermint can be effective homemade remedy for an upset stomach in addition to relaxing and managing stress in order to avoid the upset stomachs and suffering before they become a problem. However, I have found from personal experience that two things work best. Make 2 cups of cinnamon tea by boiling the tea for ten minutes with cinnamon sticks in the water. Once ten minutes has passed you will squeeze the tea bags and make the water into tea. Be sure to keep the cinnamon stick in the tea and serve right away. Drink the tea water and be sure to drink both cups, once you have consumed both cups you will find your stomach starts to feel better within 15 minutes.

I have also used black tea with mint leaves in order to calm my upset stomach. You will need to boil the tea for 15 minutes and be sure to keep the mint teas in the water for the entire brewing process. You will need use the tea bags to turn the water into tea and serve the tea hot or cold. You can put ice into the drink and cool it out but you should be sure to keep the mint leaves in the tea. You will want to consume the tealeaves with the tea and be sure to chew the tealeaves fully while you are drinking the tea. You will feel relief within 20 minutes of your upset stomach. I have tried many things over the years but I find these are my own personal favorite homemade remedies for an upset stomach.
