homemade salsa
6 plum tomatoes
1/2 large vidalia onion
handful of fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tblsp fresh lime juice
1 or 2 fresh jalapeno peppers
pinch of cayenne pepper
Begin by coarsely dicing the tomatoes and the onion.
Then the cialntro and the jalapenos.
Throw the tomatoes, onion , cilantro and jalapeno in a bowl and sprinkle with salt , lime juice and cayenne pepper.
Mix everything together and taste for desired heat level .
You can add more jalapeno or cayenne to taste.
Store mixture in refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the juices to break down and the flavors to optimize.
Serve with tortilla or pita chips.
