If you have a long dark wig in your costume box, it will work well for this Halloween costume. Walgreens, your local department store, or a costume store can also be a source for a scary wig. You can also make your own wig using a cap and black crocheting yarn. Cut the brim from an old baseball cap or make a hat from a cut off sweatshirt sleeve. Scary facemasks are common in department and costume stores. You may even find a Michael Jackson mask for sale. If you don't want to go the money for a mask, a makeshift mask can be made using cardboard and rubber bands. Cut out a circular shaped mask large enough to cover the face from a cereal box. Cut out holes for the eyes, mouth, and a slot for the nose. Glue a piece of white paper to the cardboard and then add red color around the lips. Cut open a rubber band and attach the ends of the rubber band to each side of the mask. If the rubber band is too tight, obtain material from another rubber band and fasten to the first rubber band with duct tape. The mask should be tight enough to hold in place but not any tighter than necessary.
