Blemishes can be red, irritating, painful and embarrassing, but you can help heal them naturally using a homemade soothing aloe lavender and rosemary facial mask. The ingredients in the mask help bring down swelling, rid redness, kill the bacteria causing the blemish and help prevent scaring naturally. The reason the ingredients are able to do this is that they contain anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties in them along with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that prompt healthy skin.
The only ingredients you need to make the soothing aloe lavender and rosemary facial mask are 6 aloe Vera gel capsules, ΒΌ teaspoon of organic honey, 2 drops of rosemary oil, 1 drop of tea tree oil and 1 drop of lavender oil. You can easily get all these organic ingredients from a local herbal store or organic whole food store.
The way to make the homemade soothing facial mask is by popping the aloe Vera gel capsules with a needle and squeezing the aloe out of them into a small glass bowl. Then you simply add in the honey and essential oils. Next, you combine the organic ingredients together with a toothpick until you get a foggy golden colored facial mask that has a lovely lavender rosemary scent to it. Once the mask is ready, you should have 1 tablespoon of it to massage and layer onto your face in a nice thin even layer.
Now the first thing I like to do before applying this soothing aloe lavender and rosemary facial mask is fill a bowl up with hot water, place my face over the steam coming out of it and allow my pores to open up. I find doing this really helps allow the mask to soak deep into my pores so it is able to pull the dirt, oils and bacteria in them up and out of my skin. I also find it helps nourish my skin better. The way I like to apply the mask is by taking a tablespoon of it with my fingertips and massage and layer it onto my skin until there is a nice even layer. Next, I like to leave the mask on for about an hour at least when I have many blemishes on my face. To prevent blemishes when my face is clear I leave the mask on for 25 minutes. After the time is up, I rinse my face down really well with warm water to clean the mask off my face and than I splash my face with cool water to seal and shrink my pores back up so dirt, oils and bacteria cannot get back into them.
The results after using the mask are amazing. My blemishes are usually half the size they were with less redness and my skin is soft, glowing and looking well nourished. Sometimes those stubborn scars left by previous acne are fade away as well which I really like. I even notice the dark circles under my eyes are completely gone as well, which is a plus.
When I have just one or two blemishes I make up a small batch of the mask and apply it to only the blemishes and leave it on overnight. I find this really helps heal the blemishes up and relieve any pain they are causing fast and safely.
I do hope this homemade soothing aloe lavender and rosemary facial mask help those of you out there looking for a natural solution for healing up your blemishes. I wish you all the best with keeping your skin looking and feeling beautiful naturally.
