Do you love the idea of going to a spa for some all natural herbal treatments but can't find the time or extra cash to go? Don't despair - there are plenty of easy, all natural spa-quality treatments you can you do at home for a fraction of the cost!

Facials and Scrubs

Moisturizing Honey-Oatmeal Scrub
use:

-2 parts raw oatmeal
-1 part ml honey
-1 part apple cider vinegar
Mix ingredients into a paste. Apply all-over face. Wait 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
(this scrub will keep for several months in a sealed container)

Natural Cleansing Milk
use:

-Plain milk or diluted plain yogurt
Spread all-over face using a cotton-ball. Leave on for 1 minute, then rinse with warm water.
Cleansing milk tones and tightens the facial skin. It is also useful for soothing and cooling sunburns or minor skin irritations. Milk also balances skin acidity.

Fruit Cleanser
use:

-1 apricot
-1 avocado
-1/2 medium cucumber
-1 cup green or red grapes
-1/2 papaya
-1 cup strawberries
Combine ingredients in a blender until well mixed. Wash face using mixture and warm water.
Acids from the fruit will gently sloth off dead skin cells. This is a good smoothing and deep cleanser for normal to oily skin.
(this cleanser will keep in a sealed container for 1 week if refrigerated)

Honey Almond Scrub
use:

-1 part liquid honey
-2 parts ground almonds
-5 drops lemon juice
Apply mixture to face and neck. Massage using circular motions. Rinse with warm water.
(this scrub will keep in a sealed container for several months)

Papaya Peel Massage
use:

-papaya peels (as large a section as possible)
Massage face and neck with pulpy side of peels using slow circular motions. Rinse with warm water.
Plant enzymes will help dissolve dead skin and are also a good moisturizer.

Chamomile Facial
use:

-Chamomile tea or fresh chamomile blossoms
-Boiling water
Place tea or blossoms into a large bowl. Pour boiling water into bowl. Hold your face a few inches over the the bowl and let the steam do it's work.
The combination of chamomile and steam will leave your skin fresh and dewy. If needed you can use an astringent afterward. Witch-Hazel is an organic low-cost astringent that can be purchased for much less than name-brand astringents.

All Over Beauty Treatments

Softening Beauty Bath
use:

-Tub full of warm water
-1/2 cup of powdered milk
The powdered milk will work to soften your skin while you relax in a steamy bath.
For added relaxation, add a sachet made from cheese cloth and filled with herbs to your bath water.
Relaxing herb suggestions: Chamomile blossoms and rose petals
Stimulating herb suggestions: Basil, bay, rosemary and thyme
Aching joints and muscle relief herb suggestions: Strawberry leaves and sage.
Sensual experience, herb suggestions: Lavender and Vanilla

Cleansing Body Scrub
use:

-1 cup of raw oatmeal
-4 tablespoons of sea salt
Combine ingredients and use scrub with a loofah.

Hair Conditioners

Avocado and Coconut Conditioner
use:
-1 avocado, peeled and mashed
-1 cup coconut milk
Combine ingredients and mix until it becomes the consistency of shampoo. Comb through hair and let sit for 10 -15 minutes. Wash out.

Banana and Almond Conditioner
use:

-1 ripe banana (peeled)
-A few drops of almond oil
Combine ingredients and massage into your hair. Let sit for 15 minutes before washing out.

Set aside a hour or two for yourself. Turn off the phone. Light some candles or put on some relaxing music and enjoy a few of these natural beauty treatments alone or with a friend!
