Grandma's Dressing:
You will need:
2 9x9 pans of cornbread
3 cans of cream of chicken
3 can of chicken broth
1/2 onion cut in small pieces
4 celery stalks cut in small pieces
1 bag of cubed stuffing mix (herb seasoned)
Pre-heat oven to 350. Prepare corn meal according the back of the yellow corn meal package. Once corn bread is done, let it stand long enough so you will be able to crumble it up with your hands. Coat long baking pan with spray butter. Crumble both pans of cornbread. Add onion and celery. Pour in cans of cream of chicken and chicken broth. Then add cubed stuffing. Ending mixture should be thick but not stiff. Bake until brown on top. To test if dressing is done simply stick butter knife in center if it is done it will come out clean.
7 Layer Salad:
You will need:
2 heads of lettuce
Jar of Mayonnaise
4 cans of Lesure peas
Red Onion
Yellow Onion
Bacon bits
Bell Pepper
This is my all time favorite and to me the easiest to make. If you know you are having a large group go ahead and use a good size bowl because all of these steps can be repeated over and over again. Wash your lettuce. Add a layer of lettuce in the bottom of the bowl. Take your mayo and spread a layer over the lettuce. It really doesn't matter what step you put the other veges as long when you are done you want to end up with bacon bits on the top. This salad can be made for 2 people all the way to 40 people. It is a great crowd pleaser.
Pear Salad:
You will need:
2 cans of pear halves
Mayonnaise
shredded cheese
This dish is so simple and easy to put together. You simply place pears on plate spoon small amount of Mayo in center of pear and sprinkle with cheese. Kids love it.
