Homemade Valentine Coupons for the Special Lady in Your Life

A. Ford
Do you know of a woman in your life that is busy? One that often puts her own needs behind those of others? Making coupons to help her with some of her daily chores or for special times of pampering might show her that you realize how hard she works and all that she does for others.

These could be for a spouse or a mother or a combination of both from a dad and the kids. Be creative and use ideas that are very specific to your special lady.

Examples of coupons you could make.

  • Doing the dishes for a day.
  • Taking care of piled up laundry.
  • Watching the kids for an afternoon while she goes to a salon.
  • A movie night where she picks the movie.
  • A trip to her favorite cafĂ© alone with a book for a couple hours.
  • An afternoon to work on scrap booking, ceramics, etc.

The cool thing about giving her the coupons is that she can redeem them when she feels the most need for a break. You can do a couple or a lot of these coupons. Take into consideration that you will need to be available when she is ready to redeem, so if there are certain stipulations you want to place on the reward write it on the coupon.

Suggestions on how to make the coupons.

  • You can hand write them on index cards
  • You can design them on the computer and then print them.
  • If you do them on the computer you can place graphics or clip art on each one to make them even more special.
  • You can tie them together with a pretty ribbon.
  • You can place them in a decorative envelope or her Valentine Card

    Example coupon:

    MOVIE NIGHT

This coupon entitles "Sue" to an at home movie night.

    Movie of her choice.

    Snacks of her choice.

This coupon is redeemable on any night where we don't have other commitments.
