Homemade Vegetable Juice Recipes

Drinking vegetable juice is a quick way to get your nutrition levels up. This type of juice can supplement a diet that is lacking in a variety of different vegetables. Blending these nutritious foods is quick and easy, and ideal for people on the go. Vegetables are important for our health and the prevention of diseases. Raw vegetables are less easily digestible than the liquid form, juice gets into the system quicker than whole foods. You can make your own vegetable juice at home, which is much more beneficial to you than buying commercially produced alternatives.

- Carrot Juice -

1 pound of large carrots washed and peeled
1/2 a lemon peeled
Add some greens from the carrots
1 apple (for sweetness)

It's so easy to make, just blend all the ingredients in a juicer. This juice provides vitamin A, B, and E, and it is also good for eyesight, hair, bones, liver, teeth and skin.

- Spinach Juice -

A bunch of spinach
1/2 lemon
2 apples

Blend all the ingredients together in a juicer. You don't have to add the lemon, but it gives the drink a nice flavor, and adds a little kick to it.

- Tomato Juice -

3 cups of chopped tomatoes
1 cucumber
1 stick of celery
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper

Juice all the ingredients, with the exception of the salt and pepper. Add these later after the juicing of the vegetables is over, this will give more flavor.

Some people don't like the taste of vegetable juice, therefore, they don't drink it. However, you can add seedless grapes or apples to sweeten up the flavor. This way, there will be a much better taste to the vegetable juice.
