Homeopathic Remedies for Vaccine Complications & Risks

Implications in Healthcare

Christine Cadena
While most of the children in the United States engage in routine immunization and vaccination schedules, there are some parents who choose to forego this highly recommended health practice. Believing there are adverse health risks associated with vaccinations, parents opt to take the perceived safer route of avoiding long term health complications associated with vaccinations.

In the realm of homeopathic medicine, there is a growing focus on not only the ways in which to prevent vaccination injury and illness but also to manage complications as they arise. As a parent, if you are concerned about your child's ability to effectively manage the outcomes of a vaccination or immunization, it may be prudent to understand this homeopathic care option.

According to some homeopathic specialists, there is a concern over the increased risk for asthma and skin complications among children who pursue routine vaccinations and immunizations. While most school districts require vaccination before permitting a child to be admitted, the decision to vaccinate or immunize your child may come down to a decision about the child's education. If, however, you are required to obtain vaccinations before your child can begin school, homeopathic medicine suggests key steps in your child's health before administering vaccinations.

In terms of homeopathic care for the prevention of vaccination complications, it is recommended that children and adults utilize the anti-vaccination remedy known as Thuja. In addition, high doses of vitamin C are also recommended in the week prior to the vaccination. While adverse outcomes associated with vaccinations can not be prevented, these natural remedies may provide some therapeutic benefit in the short term.

For children who are not yet ready for grade school, but require immunizations, many homeopathic specialists recommend deferring all immunizations until your child has reached the age of 10 to 12 months. In addition, only one vaccine should be given with each visit with a separation of, at least, two months between each vaccine.

While vaccinations and immunizations have provided a great advancement in healthcare among adults and children in the United States, there are many healthcare professionals that question the necessity of the array of vaccines. While, as a parent, you have the option to defer vaccinations for your child, there will be a point when the option may not be yours, especially when your child becomes ill or attempts to enter into public schools. Therefore, when considering vaccination health concerns, look to homeopathic medicine as a viable option for preventing and treating vaccination damage.
