Aged people suffering from sleeplessness will need Opium. This remedy can also be used when people experience inability to sleep due to fear or fright and if Aconite fails to relieve the symptom.
If you are suffering from fever or other any disease, or are in a convalescence stage, and suffer from sleeplessness, then take Hyoscyamus.
Young children afflicted with sleeplessness should be treated with Aconite, especially if they have fever or experience restlessness. If the symptoms are not alleviated within an hour, Coffea cruda should be given. These remedies can be repeated if necessary. Belladonna may be administered if the child cries without any perceptible reason.
If the child is starting and twitching and crying as well, it should be given Chamomilla. The medicines should be repeated until relief follows.
