HOMONYMS: Do You Write Right?
Day Sixty-Five
Some have a mental block.
By avoiding proper usage,
THEIR writing turns to schlock!
Go TO the store is one "o"
While having TOO much is double "o"
But more than one and less than three,
Will give you TWO it's plain to see!
With THEIR it belongs to them,
While that place is over THERE,
To shorten what THEY ARE doing
THEY'RE doing it...I do declare!
To try to get my point across,
I hope tis not in VAIN,
Or flapping on the rooftop like a weather VANE,
To see it in writing, I may just pop a VEIN
So please proofread carefully before I go insane!
