Homosexual Doesn't Equal Sexual Predator

This is something that bothers me non-stop. I see and hear everyday how God says that gays and lesbians are an abomination and that it's a sin against God but in all actuality 99% of the bible wasn't written by God or Jesus. It was written by MEN who needed to realize that if they believe that God created heaven and earth that he also created US.!!! We are part of what God made. It's not ok to believe that in one part of the bible that God created all living things but then in another book to turn around and say well oops I guess he didn't make gays and lesbians and bisexuals. That is just ridiculous.

What we have here is a man's perception of what he wants to believe just because he doesn't agree with what we are doing. He thinks that we choose to be homosexual. Well personally I as well as millions of others did not choose to be gay, honestly some days I think it would be easier to be straight so as not to deal with people that have such hypocritical ideas. To top that off it's mostly the gay men that get the worst of it all because most men think it's ok for women to be lesbian because that's some fantasy of theirs. Don't get me wrong lesbians get discriminated as well but my personal feeling is that it's slightly more accepted in our society than being a gay male.

There are still a lot of people and states for that matter that say being a gay male is ILLEGAL. That is just the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You can make something illegal just because you don't agree with and it is not hurting anyone. My word then why not make being overweight illegal. Some people cannot help the fact that they are overweight and you may not like to see someone overweight but are t hey hurting you, NO! So how can a lot of people in society say that me being gay is illegal and it's wrong.

Another part of this is the fact that a great deal of people think that just because someone is homosexual that they are going to prey on their children. Does anyone know that in this great world that we live in that these types of crimes are committed are not mostly done by homosexuals but by heterosexuals. Don't get me wrong doing anything to a child is 300% wrong and shouldn't have happened in the first place. I have heard so many times that when someone is gay they are after someone's little boy or little girl to get some high from something like that, but in all actuality homosexuals are not preying after young children. Someone that commits a crime against a child is someone that is sick and needs help but it doesn't mean they are gay or lesbian.

These stereotypes need to stop! Homosexual individuals are here to stay, we are trying to make a living,find true love,live life to the fullest, and most of all to just be accepted. We aren't asking that you agree with what we are doing but we are no different than you in so many ways. Don't judge because in the end we will all be judged and when that day comes the decision is not in our hands or yours.
