Honda 3R-C: Three Wheeled Automobile that Produces Zero Emissions
Concept Vehicle to Be Showcased at Upcoming Geneva Motor Show
The Geneva Motor Show is considered the biggest automobile showcase of the year. All of the industry leaders and some unknowns come together to showcase their latest concept vehicles. Honda promises that their Honda 3R-C is more than a concept even though it is just that as of the time of this writing. Their vehicle is a uniquely designed automobile that will only have three wheels. The three wheels are moved by a electric and battery powered engine concept that very little is know about.
Honda's Milan division is responsible for the design of the Honda 3R-C. The initial purpose of the vehicle is for those commuters who need a quick, energetic, and low emission vehicle for their means of transportation. A quick look at the automobile shows that is is covered in a clear canopy. The canopy is there to help protect the vehicle from the earth's elements. Inside is a drivetrain that is very low. This is show the Honda 3R-C can be easily stabilized due to having a lower sense of gravity.
There are three wheels for a reason. The three wheel concept allows the Honda 3R-C to move in a different pattern than a traditional four wheel vehicle. A three wheel concept affects the vehicle's overall drivetrain. By being designed this way, the Honda 3R-C is able to obtain the closeness to the ground that allows it to stabilize more accurately and result in lower emissions being used through driving.
The concept looks very promising. Time will tell if the company is going to actually bring a three wheeled vehicle to the market. This is because a lot of people out there claim that three wheels will increase the risk of danger on the road that an extra wheel can prevent. However, for those who are looking for a green vehicle that succeeds in delivering just that, this vehicle is going to be very popular.

Honda's latest concept to be shown at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show will stand on only three wheels and produce zero emissions when in use. The Honda 3R-C is a concept designed by their Milan division, it's meant for single commuters who need a quick, peppy, and low-emission means of transportation.
It has a covered clear canopy to protect you from the elements. The drivetrain is very low, similar to the subaru boxter, where stabilization is increased by lowering the vehicles center of gravity.
Although it seems green. What isn't considered is the amount of fossil fuels used in the production of this vehicle. The plastics, rubber tires, and batteries.
