"Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries" was very good. The flakes were light and crispy, and the oat clusters add a nice texture and a hint of granola-like flavor. What makes this cereal even better is the addition of some slightly chewy and deliciously tart dehydrated strawberries. This cereal is very nice with milk or right out of the box.
Like many breakfast cereals "Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries" is low in fat (2%) and high in nutrition! Each ¾ cup serving of "Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries has only 120 calories and provides 2 percent of your daily recommendation of zinc and copper, 4 percent of your daily recommendation of phosphorus and magnesium, 8 percent of your daily recommendation of vitamin C, 10 percent of your daily recommendation of vitamin D, 15 percent of your daily recommendation of vitamin A, 25 percent of your daily recommendation of thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, and vitamin B12, and a whopping 45 percent of your daily recommendation of iron. (Which is something I tend to need.)
"Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries" was a good value when on sale. For two dollars we got 12 servings. I was happy to see that there were only 8 grams of sugar, half of the amount in some other "healthy" cereals (like some types of "Total"). It's still a bit more than what I am used to seeing in a cereal marketed for adults, but not too bad.
All in all , this is a very tasty cereal that I think would be fine for everyday consumption. So, if you like strawberries, you might want to give "Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries" a try!
Enjoy!
