My pick on which day would be the best is Friday for their fish. Hoofer's restaurant is known for their fresh fish and let me tell you, the breading on the fried catfish is to die for! Not only do they offer just the items I listed above on the certain days, they also have a salad bar as well.
The whole buffet, food and salad bar, is only $9.00 per person. This includes the tax. If you just want the salad bar then it will be $6.46 (plus tax). Both version include a drink and dessert. Now here is where it gets good. Their desserts offer homemade pies of the day or homemade banana pudding. Lets all say YUM together!
Hoofer's is nothing fancy, and it sure isn't a place where you would find fine delicate cuisine. It is a place for some good home southern cooking and that is why I recommend that if you are ever in LaGrange, Ga for the afternoon that you should definitely stop on in and give Hoofer's restaurant a try!
