How to Make Knitted Earrings

Materials Needed:

Needle or round nose jewelry pliers
Crochet Thread size 10
Two Jump rings
Steel crochet hook size 7
Plastic rings
Earring wires, set of two

Instructions for Making Knitted Earrings:

Step 1- Make a slipknot and place on the crochet hook.

Step 2- Make a chain 22.

Step 3- Single crochet n the second chain from hook and across then turn.

Step 4- Chain three skip next stitch and repeat from across three loops.

Step 5- Now you will join the slip stitch into the first chain three forming a loop.

Step 6- Leave a few inches of thread to weave in when fastening off.

Step 7- Next add in the ending and starting threads.

Step 8- Using the jewelry pliers twist open a jump ring and insert one end of the jump ring into bottom loop and into the crochet stitch. It should be where you joined and fastened off the thread. Twist jump ring closed.

Step 9- Repeat steps to make the second earring.

The knitted earrings are completed. The color of the crochet thread can be any color of your choosing. Women usually choose a color that will go with any outfit.

Do not pull a jump ring apart it will not close back. Only use jewelry pliers to open and fasten shut the jump rings. Only open and close with a twisting motion of the jewelry pliers.
