If you are spending the day shopping, or just plan on stopping in for food, you will find Hooter's located in the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. It is located on the 4th level of the mall, right across from Bloomingdale's. They are open every Monday thru Thursday from 11:00am until 12:00am. The weekend hours are different; they are open both Friday and Saturday until 1:00am. But on Sunday they close the doors at 11:00pm.
Parking for Hooters at the Mall of America is located in the East Parking Garage. Reservations are not necessary, and casual attire is fine. Actually, almost any attire is fine. On any given day you will see people in suits as well as shorts. This Minneapolis restaurant is another come as you are establishment. They do take cash or credit cards.
Hooters is not a bar, but they do serve beer. During the day it feels like a pub style restaurant, however, I did feel like it took on more of a sports bar ambiance after 8pm. Friday and Saturday nights are not for the kiddies. At least not in my opinion. This Minneapolis restaurant has a Happy hour every Sunday-Thursday is from 9pm to 11pm. You can buy pitchers of your favorite for $6.50 and those awesome wings are .25 each! We went on "What Women Want Wednesday". Everything that a woman wants is 20% off! For take out you can call 952-854-3110.
The specialty at Hooters is their Chicken Wings and their seafood. My personal favorite was the Buffalo Shrimp, but my husband preferred the Cuban sandwich. They serve a mean Quesadillas as well, but the big basket of chicken wings stopped me in my tracks!
The most memorable thing about our visit to Hooters in the Mall of America was how much fun it was. Everyone was in a great mood, and there was not an unhappy waitress in the place. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, not just working. The girls were constantly joking with each other and the customers as well.
I do however; feel that it is time the Hooters chain expanded. It is time that they put some "pretty, young" guys to work waiting on tables.
