Pros
The main advantage of this vacuum is that it can suck in not only dry dirt and dust but also spilt milk, juice, coffee or other wet stuff. It's very handy to clean up the messes in the kitchen. And if you got kids who love to play with their food and drink this little machine would be a huge help.
The charger which also acts as a wall mount holds the vacuum securely. Once you put the unit on the base it is automatically recharged so it will always be ready when you need it.
One unique feature of this handheld vacuum is that the transparent dirt cup and the nozzle are actually a single part. You can see all the stuff this sucker has been eating and it can be handy at times. For example if the machine accidentally sucks in a small toy part you can see that it is there.
Cons
The main flaw for this vacuum is that you must press the power button continuously for it to work. When you need to clean bigger messes which takes a couple of minutes to do then holding the power button becomes really annoying.
The nozzle only has small opening so you must point it right at the dust/dirt you want to suck in. And since this is only a 7.2-volt vacuum the suction is incomparable to those 12-volt or 18-volt vacuum. It is also fairly loud for a 7.2-volt hand vac.
After you done cleaning you need to clean the filter and it can be messy. It's easy to clean but still messy.
And finally, the charging unit does not tell you whether it's charging or not and of course it doesn't tell you whether the battery is fully charged.
Conclusion
For a mere $27 you can get yourself a decent hand-held vacuum for spot cleaning in the kitchen, living room or stairs. If, however, you have extra budget you would be better off buying an 18-volt (or at least 12-volt) handheld vacuum for some extra power and better cleaning ability (like the Dirt Devil M083414).
