Hope Lost

Once I had hope in my life, because I had you, then you left

You left me broken and alone

I am losing hope

You rescued me, the you left

You brought me to the light, then you thrust my soul back into the darkness

You saved me from my pain then let it eat me alive

Without you my life is over and my heart is crushed

My heart, my laugh and my voice were given to you by me

Now that you are gone my heart is broken my laugh has faded my voice has eroded away

I thought I'd be with you forever but forever has come and gone

My pain has returned once again

The loneliness is back

The darkness is swallowing me again

My hope has fled into the shadows

You fulfilled my life, my heart, and my soul

Now its gone, all gone

I messed up and lost the one thing that mattered the most in my life
