Hope's Whisper Found in Angel's Eyes

May We All Wish Upon This Star!

Darrin A. Yarbrough
Soft steadfast song sounding waterfall supreme,

Delving deep into unknown adventures stream,

Transcend limpid aqueous pools waterfall embrace,

Soft parade hallowed romancing phantasmal place,

Delve further finding unexplored kingdom's grace

Unequivocally resplendent house Nirvana...In space.

Within central Universe lay biholden examination

Silent globule orb berthed eons before nightshades

Woo engaged daylight...afore time's contamination.

Pearly spheres...Winking lackadaisical smiles, fade warmly

Upon terrestrial hominid beings foundation,

A candelabrum taper lights spirit-mankind's shade.

Beacon array strikes, traversing times trodden path,

Aged frozen distance, twinkling shards glimmer shattered glass,

Untoward earth-radiance...dreamy.

Man...incognizant of silent lighting, cometh gentle report...

Angel's arrival stays foreboding darkness mirth.

Converging vanguard, God's angelic minion descends,

An oblique halo...opalescent armor foundered in

Holy citadel of hallow-handed pinions.

Forthright announcement of child o' thine ardor.

Echo's clasp from alabaster Apennine's dominion,

Humanity-whole resplendent within household Zion.

King's countenance speaks hope from child's scion.

Serendipity shall now be thy scene,

A cathedral found within forestall Apennines,

Cradled crown amidst silent writhing silver vines,

Wreathed in leaves-laced red and green,

Wound throughout a yellow mezzanine.

Within...without...Cherubs subtle sound destined

To vibrate strings upon Raphael's lyre.

Hark unto heralding seraph's somnolent sonatas

Steely-eyed, signaling days retire.

Archangels broadcast mortals desired prayer...hope!

God's report, "has always been there!"

Beacon's klaxon call dispatched soundly,

Granite walls echo untoward tranquilities rainbow infinite.

Abeyance only cuckold humankinds own beguiling despair

May fall upon deaf-ears of hallowed halls sincere.

God's report, "Believe in me thus hope ever shall be!"

And so it is...set in stone for eternity.
