Jeepers Creepers Horror Movie Halloween Costume Ideas

The Creeper is a flesh-eating creature from the Jeepers Creepers horror movie series. To get started making this Halloween costume, buy a cheap Jeepers Creepers Halloween mask. If it doesn't seem to be the right color and texture, paint over the mask with a thin wash of gray acrylic craft paint. Remove any excess paint with a clean rag. Get some goblin hand accessories to go over your hands. Paint them to match your mask. Find an oversized felt Derby-style hat with a wide brim. Then find a long dark vinyl trench coat, black jeans and a dark T-shirt. Find some brown vinyl straps and a medium-sized metal ring.

You can make a pair of Jeepers Creepers wings by using pieces of wood or plastic into the shape of a large bat wing. Get some tan vinyl or PVC fabric and paint it with a slightly darker brown vein design in acrylic craft paint. Stretch the fabric over the back of the bat wing frame and attach it with strong adhesive. Cut and tear the ends of the wings to a ragged edge. Make the vinyl straps into a wing harness that fits your chest and back in an X pattern. Bind them together by attaching the end of each strap to the metal ring. Cut two holes in the back of the trench coat to create a space for the wings to attach to the harness. Slide the ends of the wings through the holes, then attach them to the back of the vinyl harness. Finish your Jeepers Creepers horror movie costume with dark colored shoes or boots.

Michael Myers Horror Movie Halloween Costume Ideas

Michael Myers is a terrifying character from the Halloween horror movie series. The first thing you'll need for this Halloween costume is a cheap white Michael Myers mask. Paint the mask with brown and gray acrylic craft paint to make it look dirty. Smudge and smear the mask with the paint to give it an overall soiled look, then paint on blotches of thicker paint in random spots. Allow the mask to dry completely. Then get a gray or black workman's jumpsuit. Use a thin wash of acrylic paint to create greasy spots and spots of blood on the jumpsuit. Smudge it with dirt or powdered makeup to make it look dirty. Get a large prop kitchen knife. Put it down on some newspaper and fling some red craft paint at the blade to create the appearance of blood. Wear dark colored shoes. Put brown, gray and red makeup on your hands to make them look dirty and blood-stained.

Freddy Krueger Halloween Costume Ideas

Freddy Krueger is a maniac that appeared in the Nightmare on Elm Street horror movie series. A very important item you'll need for the Freddy Krueger horror movie costume is a long sweater with thick horizontal stripes in red and black, dark gray or dark green. Soak the sweater in brewed tea or smear it with dirt to soil it. Also cut up the ends of the sweater. Get a bald cap to go over your hair. Buy a cheap Freddy Krueger mask or create burn scars on your face using nose wax, liquid latex and makeup.

If you choose the cheap Freddy Krueger mask, paint it with red and gray acrylic craft paint to create a better burnt skin look.

To make a Freddy Krueger clawed glove, get a chipboard box, some toilet paper rolls, some brass paper fasteners, an old work glove and some acrylic plastic sheet up to 3/16 of an inch thick. You'll also need a hot glue gun, some sandpaper, some acrylic craft paint in brown and gray and some silver spray paint. Cut up the toilet paper rolls so that they fit over the fingers of the glove. Create a separate segment for each finger of the glove. Score the toilet paper rolls at the bottom joint of each finger so that it bends easily. Cut a section out of the chipboard box to cover the back of the glove beneath the fingers. Punch holes in the cardboard, then use the brass paper fasteners to attach the toilet paper roll segments to the chipboard piece. Draw four claw blades using straight lines only on the piece of acrylic plastic sheet. Cut the sheet on a straight line on one edge of your drawings using a scribing knife or utility knife, using a metal straight edge to keep your line straight. Go over the plastic about 8 times using the knife. Clamp the plastic firmly in place with the cut area at the edge of the table, then press down firmly on the sheet until it breaks. Turn the plastic sheet, clamp it down and cut along the other angles of the claw using a hand saw or power saw. If you choose a power saw, be sure to wear protective gloves and glasses. Sand the edges of the plastic blades to create the right shape. Put them down over newspaper and spray paint them silver. Apply the brown and gray paint to the glove and the cardboard piece to make them look burnt and dirty. Attach the blades to the cardboard piece using super glue. Use hot glue to attach the cardboard hand piece to the back of the glove.

Find a fedora hat and paint or soil it to make it look old and burnt. Wear old blue jeans and black shoes to make your Freddy Krueger horror movie costume complete.
