Horror Movie Pumpkin Carving Stencils: Leprechaun Stencils

Halloween Pumpkin Carving

Colt Kingston
Leprechaun is a comedy horror movie about an evil leprechaun who is seeking his missing gold coins. Even if you have never seen any of the Leprechaun movies, carving an evil Leprechaun on your pumpkin this Halloween could still make for a fun and scary idea.

The horror movie came out in 1993, and was written and directed by Mark Jones. Mark Jones also wrote the 1995 horror movie Rumpelstiltskin.

In 1994, a second version featuring the evil character was released. And then a third one was released on video in 1995.

Those who remember the 90's versions, might not be aware that in 2000, a fourth film came out on video featuring the character "in the hood". And essentially a sequel to that one, "back to tha hood", came out in 2003.

Mark Jones receives writing credit for the characters in the versions that followed the first one, but the screenwriters different for all of the others.

The voice of the Leprechaun character was actor Warwick Davis. Jennifer Aniston also was part of the 1993 cast as Tory Reding. The next year, 1994, is when Aniston joined the cast of Friends.

Horror Movie Pumpkin Carving Patterns: Leprechaun Stencils

The Halloween pumpkin carving pattern website Zombie Pumpkins has a new Leprechaun stencil you can download and print out from home. As expected, the design is based on the evil movie Leprechaun rather than the cute type you might see around St. Patrick's Day.

This horror movie pumpkin carving pattern is located in their movie monsters stencil section of the Zombie Pumpkins website.

It is not free, however. In order for the stencil to become printable, you have to first pay to join the website as a member. Their "bare bones" membership option costs just $2 and lets you print two stencils within a 9 month period.

Three other membership options are also available to choose from: "break ground" which is $5, "whole harvest" is $10, and "monster harvest" is $20.

For more information about membership, please visit the Zombie Pumpkins website.
