Horse Isle is a graphic multiplayer online game that uses Flash technology. The basic concept of the game is to capture, train, and compete with your very own horse, in which the site offers many options alone. In addition, the site offers over 50 various minigames and over 300 quests to enhance the horse owner experience. Providing a virtual world, a player can own several horses, while competing in many interactive games and content.
The site is run on a pay-to-play scheme, which means that it makes its revenue from players paying for additional content rather than from advertising. While many players choose to play for free, which allows them access to all regular content, subscribers may pay $5 a month to own their own ranch, which allows them to train and make money more effectively, as well as own more horses. Free players have a limited play time available, which is accumulated over time and reaches a maximum limit of 6 hours at a time. Subscribers are able to play unlimited on Horse Isle. Although the time limit may seem initially oppressive, it is quite easy to spend two hours a day playing the game without worrying about running out of time.
Horse Isle is a very easy game to play, and has an introductory tutorial as well as additional help provided on their website for struggling beginners. Although capturing your first horse may be frustrating, as they are hard to find and catch, it is rewarding; for those players who prefer not to catch their horse, they will find they can easily purchase an untrained horse within their first few hours of playing from another player. Because the game is competitive multiplayer, and provides new content almost every week, it is hard even after a long time of play to be bored with the game.
Minigames provide a great alternative way to have fun on Horse Isle. Although most are horse related, many games are educational and cover topics such as geography, math, spelling, and science. Other minigames develop thinking and memory skills, providing a challenge that is fair to both children and adults. Horse competitions also are minigames, and challenge players with eye-hand coordination, math knowledge, and planning skills.
For parents concerned about the content their children access on the internet, Horse Isle provides an atmosphere that is completely safe. All new players must go through an internet safety quiz before joining. Rules are designed to prevent the sharing of personal information such as name, age, and location, and are strictly enforced. The rules also forbid swearing, as well as talking about dating relationships and other adult topics (the game even is specifically designed to not allow horse breeding.) The game has plenty of moderators as well as an email support team to deal with broken rules swiftly. The game staff also encourages all players to play smart, so that they are not cheated on in any way.
Bright and fun, Horse Isle provides hours of weekly entertainment for anyone who is passionate about horses. Easy to learn and as simple to play, the game provides hundreds of ways to entertain yourself as you play. The game is free unless you choose to subscribe, and is completely advertisement free. With a wonderful community and great staff, I see a bright future for this little horse game on the internet.

Post a CommentLol! These comments are so true. The freaking graphics are crap. The dumb players I refer to as "mini mods" will really report you for anything, and act like they run the place. The mods themselves, don't get me started. They are usually menopausal women in their late 40's ratting on kids to make up for their hateful teen offspring and ungrateful husband who spends most of his time at clubs to get the image of their ugly wife out of their head. They absolutley adore the other women on their, also ugly, and they chat together. They violate rules and prosecute others for "using chat speak" and "giving personal information". Most of these "vios" come from statements like "I have a horse in real life, do u?". They are the walking definitions of hypocritical and unprofensional, taking sides in argruments with the subscribers. Once, I made a test. I repeated a rude statement the mod ignored, which was constructed by a sub. After that, I got reported. What'd I tell you?Anyway, this website is pure #$%$ pure bias, and purely not worth anyone's time. Parents, I strictly caution you keep your kids away from this, or, god forbid, they become a mini-mod. Or worse, hit you up for 40 dollars so they can enjoy the game.Which is they only way they will, because if your not a subscribed, there's so many rules you have to watch your every step.
I also agree that the modship is very unprofessional in this game. I've gotten 2 violation points, one was misunderstood (got that one removed) and the next one was when an admin/mod ASSUMED (didn't have a screen shot, only had chat) that I was being rude to a player by having my character blocking something someone could not get to (as in chat they were spamming "move!" over and over, which is what I reported them for (justly, I must say)... I also got this vio revoked.
I wish I knew who was answering my support questions. I really love this game, but it could use some help as far as modship.
Mods are way uptight, and they treat the non subscribers terribly. I got permanently banned after 2 temps. It used to be fun, until they started adding all of the new mods and adding even more ways to rack up vios. And the fact that they actually ban your IP when you're banned sucks, because then others can't play on the same computer too. Overall a good game - if you don't ever talk or do anything to rack up violations.
I played Horse Isle 1 for a very long time. Recently, I was scammed out of millions of dollars in the game. The company has said they will do NOTHING about it. Be very careful if you or your child plays this game as they do not care if other players cheat you out of your money. However, they even stated that if I didn't pay a player I promised I would that they would go into my account to take the money. Even though they refuse to return money to my account. I am now searching for a new game to play that CARES about customers. Especially when the majority of those customers are CHILDREN.
number one there are a LOT of things to do on horseisle and u dont have to have a subby it is AWESOME dont listen to kids that say its . number 2 there are a TON of things that u can do without a subby, i dont have one and i LOVE it
#3 the rules are GREAT people that think the rules are bad is because they cause trouble and break the simple rules
#4 horseisle 1 is better than horseisle 2
#5only some other people r mini mods or are annoying and u can ignore them if u want to
#6 check out the game its SOOO fun.
Horseisle is a pretty addictive game. I'm from the Dun server and the mods and players don't give me any trouble there. I actually love the graphics, they remind me of the computer games I used to play as a kid and it makes me feel all nostalgic inside... lol. I never paid for an account but I still have plenty of things to do. My only complaint is that after a while, everything feels really repetitive and you get sick of playing. But if you leave the game for a little while and come back you just fall in love with it all over again... which is fine, after all I'd get nothing done if I just played HorseIsle 24/7! lol
The rules on this game are ridiculous, and the administrators are not very professional in their dealings with the players. Other than that, great game.
Its a cool game to play%2C but need more help websites for the quests...lol.%0D%0Abut anyways ,Chestnut Server is the best!
Pretty fun at first, but the game is very limiting unless you subscribe, which is really annoying. Also, vio points fly like lightning, and some people are so sensitive that I wonder if they're just doing it to get you a vio point. Seems monotonous once all the quests are done, and the events completely rely on the tack you have, so basically, if you're a poor player who can't afford a foal or pegasus tack or whatever you can't really win any events. Overall, an okay game, the rules seriously need to be loosened a little and non subscribers should be given more benefits. I find it hard to believe that some people are actually willing to pay $40+ to play this game though.
It is an okay game but gets boring very quickly. The game has some serious LAG problems and if you actually want to do anything good you will have to become a paid subscriber. The player character graphics are really low tech and outdated....think of an old 1980's version of Mario Bros. and you will get an idea of what the player's characters look like...only Mario did a LOT more ...he could run, duck and jump! When you do get a horse to ride it really is just as pitiful as your player character. It just does this funny sort of...walk..if you can call it that.
This game is fun for a short time and is in NO WAY worth paying any amount of money to play.
A new version has been promised for over a year now but has yet to make an appearance. I seriously doubt that it will have the updated animation and graphics necessary to make the wait worth while and more importantly the game worth paying for.
