If you love horses and riding on horseback then you are in for a treat. Horseback riding packages are on the rise, because of the increasing demand for these exotic and exciting vacations and tours.

There are people from all walks of life, who normally do not have easy access to horses. They can now choose from a variety of tourist packages on offer involving riding on horseback. These packages are usually integrated with picturesque locations and faraway destinations to further enhance the already magical experience. These locations vary and usually are set in various beaches and different trekking paths that are spread out throughout the globe.

The United States offers a lot of horseback riding tours. You have the Canyon Explorer Trek in Utah, the Redwood Coast Ride in California, the Bitterroot Cattle Roundup in Wyoming and the Sugarbrush Tolt Trek in Vermont to name a few. These provide an overall intense riding experience for everyone to enjoy.

There are also some tours offered in Jamaica in the Cayman Islands. In Jamaica you have a tour of the Braco estates, and can wade through the beach horse in tow. There is also the Chukka Blue tour where you can take a horseback ride for 2 ½ hours through plantations and beaches.

The Cayman Islands on the other hand offers group rides, private rides, a swim with the horses ride, to name a variety of packages that they have on offer. Australia, with its wide plains and lush landscape is another great place to go riding. There are tours of the Gold Coast beaches available. You can also go on horseback tours in Brisbane, Adelaide, or Perth. Each location has its own special flavor, with a diversity that can only be experienced in Australia.

Of course if it is your first time on horseback, the package would include riding lessons. But there are some restrictions and age limits depending on where you want to ride, and what type of ride you go on. Usually some locations require an adult alongside a 13 year old, while others allow kids as young as 10 to go on their own. These new horseback riding tours are a novel idea in the tourism industry. Now, more than ever, a growing number of people who have interest and love for horses are getting a chance to experience how it is to ride on first hand, while immersing themselves in beautiful locations all over the world. It truly is a dream come true!
