HOSPITAL GRANTS

The grant is a word that is referred to a kind of help. In the case of hospital grant it means that a kind of help given to hospital, by any institution or by government. This type of grant is given for the execution and completion of any type of project and it is also known as project grants. The main objective of the hospital grants is to help the hospital in its expansion and quality improvements. This grant also helps the hospital in gaining information about health technology.

The main purpose of this hospital grant is its improvement. So if any hospital is granted hospital grant, this fund should not be wasted here and there. The entire fund should be incurred in expanding the project, which has been approved.

There is a formal process in receiving the grant. The higher authority of the hospital is required to make an application before the government or any institution from which there is a possibility of receiving the grant. The institution or the government after reviewing the case of the qualified applicants selects the hospitals that are eligible for this grant. Usually the hospitals in rural areas are eligible for this hospital grant by the government. Finally after going through all the procedure a written notification is made for the grant of hospital grant. For application process there must be a deadline by the headquarters. After application process, it may take time up to six months for approval or disapproval of the hospital grants by the head quarters. During this process no appeal is applicable for the concerned issue of hospital grants.

Sanction of the hospital grant is made on seeking the various types of information related to the project for which the applicant had requested for the hospital grant. The amount of fund and facilities depend on many factors such as project specifications, cost / benefit analysis and the other procedures and process of trade grant program. The projects which are already reached to its completion or the projects which had started its contract just now, for these projects hospital grants are not available. Different facility of the hospital grant is done by different fund officers. Higher authorities assign the work of different type of facility to different fund officer. Each officer is responsible for his assigned work only. If any one is having any type of problem they may contact to the specific fund officer for specific problem. Hospital grant is a great reward for the hospitals especially for rural hospitals.
