Finding a cheap alternative to a hotel in Accra, Ghana is fairly easy if you book a hostel early. Accra has a wonderful museum called the National Museum of Ghana, which is a must see for anyone visiting. Hostel prices are extremely cheap, compared to the hotel prices in Accra and offer most of the same amenities. A mixed dorm in an Accra hostel is between $15 and $20 with breakfast, where as a hotel room is between $150 and $300. The most inexpensive hostels in Accra are also some of the friendliest places to stay in the capital city.

Travella Lodge
