Athens provides cheap alternatives to hotels, with the numerous hostels that populate the city. A well planned itinerary and stay in a different hostel each day that one is concentrating on a new area of the city. Athens has much to see and do, which makes staying in a hostel a great plan to budget a longer stay.

Hotel and Hostel Lozanni

The Lozanni offers mixed dorms and private rooms. One nights stay in the Lozanni is between $17 and $41, depending on how private the room is. This hostel is centrally located in Athens, and while they do not include a breakfast in the price, the proximity to everything makes up for it. Linens and towels are included in the fee. A bar area is available for guests to mingle and talk about the days travels, or if one prefers relaxing in their room, which includes a television and telephone.

Pagration Youth Hostel
