New Zealand honors Auckland as being the largest urban area in population, and offers it's visitors many activities and sites to explore. While staying in a hostel in Auckland, be sure to take some time to see a concert or soccer game at the Mt. Smart Stadium. You will have plenty of money to see sporting events, concerts and take tours of the area if you use what you save by staying in an Auckland hostel. If you choose to spend a day relaxing during your visit try the book exchange or movie hire to entertain yourself for an afternoon. There is a TV, common room and nice library for guests to enjoy while they stay in the hostel, as well as reading lights for you to finish that page turner in the middle of the night.
