Hosting a Fun and Easy World Series Party

Ideas for Decorations, Food and Fun at Your World Series Party

Fall is finally here, and if you're a baseball fan that means you're counting down the weeks until the World Series is here. With October fast approaching, are you ready to host your own World Series party? Here are some ideas to help you throw a fun and easy World Series party.

Decorations. You'll definitely want some team decorations for your World Series party. You can usually find baseball-themed decorations at your local party supply store or on websites such as Party Supplies Hut. It can also be a lot of fun for you and your guests to make your own decorations. With just some simple markers and poster board, you will find that you and your friends can come up with plenty of ideas to cheer on your favorite team and make fun of the other guys.

Snacks. Every party needs food, right? My favorite thing to serve for this kind of party is bean dip. It is simple to make and cooks up in the crockpot, so it won't take time away from your other party preparations. I combine one can of refried beans, one can of chili, 8 oz. cream cheese, and 16 oz. Velveeta cheese. Mix together into a large crockpot and serve with tortilla chips. Your guests will be sure to love it and it is super easy. I also love to make baseball cupcakes. Just make up any cake mix into cupcakes and top with white frosting all over and red frosting for the laces. It is a cute, easy treat that is just right for a World Series party.

Games. To add to your enjoyment of the World Series games, why not add a few of your own? One fun idea to do before the game starts is to have all your guests guess what they think the score will be at the end of each inning. Then after each inning, award the closest guest with candy or a simple prize. Another good idea is to provide baseball trivia for your guests during the seventh inning stretch. You can find great baseball trivia questions online at Fun Trivia.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Even if your team doesn't make it to the World Series, it's a great excuse for another party!

I can't believe it's that time of year again! (And I guess that makes me a non-fan, but I kind of already knew that.) :)
