Mario/Luigi Campaign shirt:
This one is for the old school video game geek in your life. Does someone you know still blow dust out of their NES system every now and then? This is an awesome shirt, especially with elections coming up! You can find it here at thinkgeek.com.
Star Wars themed USB drives:
Any Star Wars fan would love to have one of these. You can choose from mini versions of Han Solo, Chewbacca, a Stormtrooper, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, or of course, Luke Skywalker. They come in 2 or 4gb models, so your nerd can have all his important stuff at his fingertips! You can find them here at mimoco.com.
Portal/Team Fortress 2 Fans:
The cake is a lie! If your geek/nerd is a fan, he will recognize this immediately, and probably be aggravated, but amused. So why not get them a shirt to remind them of all the hours they spent playing Portal to find out that the cake was a lie? You can find the shirt here at jinx.com.
Computer/Coding/Networking Geek:
Everyone loves to get what they want. A gift certificate to newegg.com is a great gift for your nerd. With thousands of things from motherboards to routers to micro sd cards, you can't go wrong here. I'm not even a hardcore computer nerd, and I would love one of these. They are a universally great gift for anyone who loves their computer. Or for those who love them way too much.
Hard Working College Nerd/Geek:
Taking notes isn't all that much fun. Then add either typing them over onto your computer, or scanning them in. It's a pain in the ass. You could help out your favorite student very much by snagging them a Fly Fusion Pen. This pen, which has to be used with special paper, automatically takes all the notes you write with it, and saves them onto an internal drive. You then take it home, plug it into your usb drive, and all your notes are there on your computer! So easy and such a great idea, especially if you have friends who tend to miss class and then want your notes. It also holds mp3s, and has some other pretty cool ways to pass time when you aren't using it for notes. Get one here at flyworld.com
Tabletop/RPG Nerd/Geek:
What could one of these nerds really use? A bag to carry all their gaming accessories in. But who wants a boring, black backpack? Here's another gem from thinkgeek.com. It's called the Bag of Holding. With its multiple storage areas and its 12 sided die logo on the front, it's perfect for your geek, guy or girl. There is also plenty of space for iron on patches, buttons, or whatever your nerd wants to customize it with! You can get one here from thinkgeek.com
I hope I helped give you an idea for the special geek/nerd in your life. Happy shopping, and happy holidays!
