Hot Haunted Houses in Northeast Ohio to Scare You Throughout October

It is that time of year where haunted houses are popping up everywhere, including all over the media. You cannot turn on your television or log in to the Internet without seeing an ad for a haunted house. The Greater Cleveland Area in Ohio has a variety of these attractions that have been open for decades, as well as a new one in Mentor that is attracting a lot of buzz.

The new one in Mentor is known as Forsaken. It is indoors and covers 30,000 square feet of scares and terror. "Many of those other haunts have been in business for decades. The Haunted Schoolhouse in Akron, Hudson Haunted House and Bloodview Heights Haunted House have all been frightening folks for more than 30 years," reports News Net 5.

Bloodview Heights Haunted House

This haunted house is located at 1010 Towpath Trail in Broadview Heights, Ohio. Throughout October, patrons can stop by on Thursdays and Sundays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight. All patrons should be older than 8 years old and this attraction is not recommended for expectant mothers or those with medical conditions. A one-time pass is $15.

Haunted Schoolhouse in Akron

This haunted house is located at 1300 Triplett Blvd. in Akron, Ohio. There are two buildings that come with this attraction: a haunted schoolhouse and a haunted laboratory. Throughout the rest of October, patrons can stop by on Thursdays and Sundays from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. On Halloween night, this attraction will be open from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, both attractions will cost $28 and on Thursday, Sunday and Halloween night, both attractions will cost $24.

Hudson Haunted House

This haunted house is located at 2250 Barlow Road in Hudson, Ohio. The hours fluctuate, but in general they are 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. All patrons are encouraged to call 1-877-999-4679 to ensure this attraction will be open during the time they wish to visit. Adults will pay a $12 admission fee.

Forsaken

This new haunted house is located in Mentor, Ohio, at 8200 Tyler Blvd. They are not giving away a lot of details on the Internet so those who want to see what it is like will simply have to visit. They are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to midnight and on Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. General admission is $20.
